A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Kenneth Lewis Haywood of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. Dr. S. Evan Burrows pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Kenneth was a native of Tampa and educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Kenneth Haywood was a loving husband, devoted father, a friend and a confidant. He was employed at Aramark Corporation. Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Haywood, his father, David Haywood, Sr. and his sister, Kay Haywood. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Katherine Haywood; a loving daughter, Keneysha Rodney; two fully devoted sons, Elton Hollinger and Bobby Hollinger (Lillian); loving mother, Lula Haywood; devoted siblings, Mary Bivens, David Muhammad (Rasheda) of Union Springs, Alabama, Jeremiah Haywood, Helen Hawkins, Bettye Shier (Bob), John Haywood (Sharon) and Ray Haywood (Jackie); 10 grandchildren, Alex, Bobby, Jr., Micah. Jaiden, Damien, Kennedi, Nadia, Chloe, Ava and Bryce; sorrowing aunts, Vernita Edwards, Faye Richardson and Mildred Staten all of Fernandina Beach, FL; uncle, Joe Nathan Haywood of Folkston, GA; special friend, The Brooks family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
