Kevin Wise was born on November 6, 1976, in Lexington, Kentucky, to William and Ellen Wise. He lived a life rich in passion, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. A man of many interests, Kevin found joy in cooking—especially BBQing on the smoker, a craft he perfected with care and enthusiasm. He was an avid reader, golfer, and a devoted sports fan, always cheering on his beloved Kentucky Wildcats, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Cincinnati Reds. He also enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of fantasy football. But Kevin's greatest passions went beyond pastimes. Above all, he was known for his generous heart and selfless spirit. Helping others brought him true happiness, and his ability to lift up those around him—often without being asked—left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether it was offering support, guidance, or simply a listening ear, Kevin gave without hesitation and never expected anything in return. Kevin's proudest role in life was being a father.

His daughter, Samantha, was his heart and soul, and he poured every ounce of love and devotion into being the best dad he could. He made sure she always felt supported, valued, and unconditionally loved. His compassion extended to animals as well. Kevin shared a deep bond with his dog, Kobe, whom he adopted from a shelter after the dog had been returned twice. Despite Kobe's struggles with seizures, Kevin loved and cared for him with the same tenderness and loyalty he showed everyone in his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Dexter and Elena Brandt-Nielsen; uncle, Charles Wise; and aunt, Celia Rothe. He leaves cherished memories with his only daughter, Samantha Marie Wise; brothers, Will Ed Wise, Jr. (Karen); sisters, Melissa Wise Corey (William), Imelda Wise Hester, and Katherine Wise Carroll; nieces, Ellena, Kristyn, Alyssa, Autumn, Amber, Angel, Charity, and Allison; nephews, Bret, Jacob, Ben, and Dylan; along with close friends, Chris, Ray, Jason, Kat, Eric; and furry friend, Kobe.
