Kevontrae Ray'shard Collier, affectionately known as, "Trae/Busta", to his loved ones, was a beacon of light and joy in the lives of all who knew him. Born on February 16, 2001, in the city of Tampa, FL, Trae's life was a tapestry woven with the love of his extensive family. He was the cherished son of Tequila Smith and Billy Collier, Jr., who provided him with a foundation of unconditional love. A man of many talents, Trae had a passion for rapping and football, which he pursued with dedication and enthusiasm.
Trae was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Henry Lee Smith, Edna Horton, George Norton, Matilda Collier, and Eddie Collier; grandparents, Jimmie Lee Smith and Billy Ray Collier, Sr.; uncle, Vontrae Norton, aunt, Bessie Lee Smith, and cousin, Shantell Wilson.
Trae leaves to cherish his memories, a beloved son, Trevon J. Staley (Tremeya Staley), with whom he shared a bond that transcended words; mother, Tequila Smith (Steven), father, Billy Collier Jr. (Erica); brothers, Billy Collier III, Te'Kevis Collier, Jimaree Collier, and Torrey Collier; sisters, Bikeira Collier, and Biniya Collier, who will forever hold dear the memories of their brother; grandmothers, Sandy Norton (James) and Jennifer Stephens-Harris; great-grandmothers, Betty King and Bennie Howard; aunts, Cheyenne Morgan (Gerrod), Patrina Allen (Tyara), Sherry Alaway, Charyetta Wright, Darrylyn Sims, Felicia Ward, Stephanie Harmon, and Charlotte Wilson; uncles, Jimmie Norton and Vachell Sims; nephew, Mon'Jai Collier; cousins, William Allen, Reginald Allen, Zhaune Norton, Jimmiei Norton Jr, Jaxon Norton, Gerraya Bush, Brooklyn Norton, Vashell Sims, Vassiah Sims, Donneisha Roseboro, Donald Roseboro, Michael Pate Jr., Christopher Pate, Me'chelle Pate, Robert Cooley, Randell Simmons, Carlos Williams, Javonn Tice, Taywon Goins, Kiara Wilson, and Karheema Williams; godmother, Shakita Williams; friends, Hank, JuJu, Dshine, Tfive, and the rest of the hurks, who were like brothers to him, along with a host of additional aunts, uncles, and cousins, will miss his presence at family gatherings.
