Keylon "KC", was born June 8, 1978 to the late Maceo A. Chaney, Jr. and Carol E. Chaney. Keylon graduated from Brandon High School in 1996 and went on to attend Florida A&M University. She became a barber and also held employment with CGS, Ashley Furniture, and Sprint. Her favorite activities included, barbequing, cutting hair, and watching her favorite football team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She loved her family and loved spending time with them. Keylon was known for having a sneaker addiction, owning over 100 pairs. She also helped many children within the community as a math tutor.

She was preceded in death by her father; Maceo; grandparents, Maceo, Sr. and Pansy Chaney; great-grandparents, Archie and Petronia Chaney; uncle, James Martin; William and Manda Nelson, and Geneva Brooks and Jessie and Essie Morgan.

She leaves to cherish her memory; wife, Demetrius Sharpton-Chaney; children, Felicia Sharpton, Rechard Cooley, Jr., Rahkym Cooley, Rakieria Cooley, and Zykyng McKenzie; grandchildren, Jaliayah, Janyia, and Janae; mother, Carol E. Chaney; brother, Maceo A. Chaney III; sister, Telesia Chaney- Stephens (Rev. Lance); aunts, Debbie Chaney, Pansy Chaney, Gwen Chaney, Marion Martin, and Evelyn Brown; uncles, Gregory Martin (Deborah), Micky Chaney (Felicia), Ricky Chaney, Albert Brooks, and Ernest Brooks; great-aunt, Edna Smith; niece, Heaven Stephens; nephew, Lance Stephens, Jr.; godson, Tyrone Gonzales; special cousins, Robyn White- Gordon and Krystal Gordon; special friends, Apostle James Howell and (the late Marzetta Howell), Tarsha Gonzalez, Harriet Anderson and Yakenjdra (Kiki) Green; and a host of cousins and friends. whom she loved dearly.
