Homegoing services for Ms. Lakwanda Denise Wilson of Tampa who passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011, will be held Saturday, September 17th, 2:00 p.m. will be held at Greater Mt. Carmel AME Church, 4209 N. 34th Street, Rev. Charles E. Cloy, officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Lakwanda was born January 2, 1979 in Tampa, Florida. She attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. She leaves to cherish her memories: 5 sons, Terrence Aquil, Kentrelle and Kerry Mosley and Kendell and Camron Wilson; companion, Kenneth Mosley; mother and step-father, Pamela Wilson and Charles Mayhue; father, Terrance Melton; sisters, Sharita Wilson, Michelle Stroud, Melissa Jackson, Rashia Wilson, Cassandra Howard and Monique Mayhue; grandmothers, Loretha Wilson, Theresa Melton, Estella Carnell and Evelyn Brookins; grandfathers, Earl Wilson, Sr. and Allen Brookins, Sr.; aunts, Wanda Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Jackie Wilson, Cynt Jones, Sharon Melton, Estella Melton, Bonnita Melton and Janice Cooper; uncles, Earl Wilson, Alvin Melton, Allen Brookins and Michael Brookins; nieces, Angelica Lockett, Jayla Lockett, Allexus Lockett, Jacurea Thornton, Jesseyana Iverson, Ju'lyiah Johnson and Joxira Fussell; nephews, Angel Lockett, Justin Mcmichael, Jr., Russell Stroud, Jr., Rukeem Stroud, Tyson Stroud, Javon Thornton, Jahdyin Moore and Charles Fowler; cousins, Corey Wilson, Jason Coy, Cherelle Wilson, Shantel Wilson, Carlos Mendez, Latasha Wilson, Alshawntay Wilson, Rikhia Wilson, Demetrious Simmons, Darvette Wilson, Carl Wilson, Ervin Wilson, Earlisha Wilson, Earl Keaton, Szeja Albury, Tyler Britton, Temeka Cooper, Ebony Curtis, Devin, Sysqo, Erica, Kalesia, Tina, Keith, Kalvin, Kareem, Yariza, Kiera, Shazae and Shiarn; brothers-in-law, Russell Stroud and Julious Johnson. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service on Saturday.
