Homegoing services for Mr. Larry A. Davis of Tampa who passed away, Tuesday, July 31, 2012, will be held on Saturday, August 11th, 2:00 p.m., at Northside M.B. Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Pastor Ricardo Robinson, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Larry A. Davis was born January 19, 1961, in Tampa, Florida, to Veronica L Davis and the late Ernest T. Davis Sr. Tony received his education through the School System of Hillsborough County in Tampa, Florida. Tony was once employed with Borden's Dairy, McKenzie Tank Line Davis Trucking Company. Larry "Tony" was known for his love of people and never meeting a stranger. Most importantly, he was never lost for words along with his quick wits. Tony had a great love for driving trucks and playing basketball. No matter where Tony resided he made a great impact on the community and was a very loving, caring and giving person. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Davis Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Veronica L. Davis; six children, Latwanda McGee and husband Shawn McGee, Antonio Davis, Taius Davis, Donyetta Fesser , Ahmad Carter and Davis Coby Davis; grandchildren, Sayeed McGee, Sevin McGee, Antonio Davis, Tristen J.Davis and Eqonsic Howard; sisters, Jacquline A. Davis, Ernestine D. Davis of Atlanta, Ga., Sharon Davis, Susan Langham and husband, Brother Archie Langham of North Carolina, Katie Davis-Brown, Barbara Davis, Sara Davis, Kenyel, Davis, Casey Davis and Ceanna Davis; brothers, Michael L. Davis, Ernest T Davis, Shayne Davis of Boston, Massachusetts, Kenyarda Davis, Domani Davis, Joshua Davis, Terah Davis, Dhrai Davis, Kellen Davis, and Javon Davis with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The viewing will be held Friday, August 11, 2012 at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service at 1:45p.m.
