Larry was born on October 19, 1956, in Tampa, FL., and was the first child born to Ossie L. Hendrix. He attended the public schools in Hillsborough
County. Larry graduated from George C. Chamberlain, Sr., High School, class of 1974, Larry worked various jobs.

Larry was baptized at an early age by Rev. J.C. Robinson.

Larry was married twice to Iris B. Nelson and Barbara Lee. Although Larry never fathered any children he spent countless hours nurturing and playing with the children of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ervin and Amanda Hendrix; uncles, Irving, Bernard, and Walter Hendrix; and aunt, Helen Hendrix Pease.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his devoted mother, Ossie Hendrix; daughter, Nikita Lee; granddaughter, Samara Roberts; sister, Lauranell H. Mosley; brother, Mathis Wright (Tina); nephew, Trevar W. Mosley (Krystyn) of Powder Springs, GA; niece, Cheno M. Wright of Tampa; great nephews, Trevar, Jr. and Trystyn Mosley of Powder Springs, GA; great-nieces, NyJae Fifties, Sabrina Harrell, Goddess, Mi Luv, Zariyonna, and AjaLeah Jackson of Tampa; cousins, Joseph Spencer, Howard Pease (Cassandra), George Grant, Jr., Helen Wilder (Joseph), Eva Grant, and Denise Jackson all of Tampa, Rosie Manly (Timothy) of Pittsburg, CA, Patrick Hendrix (Sally) of Miami, FL, Darryl Brown (wife) of Tampa, Kevin Kaigler (Mitchell) of Tallahassee, FL, Stephanie Hendrix of Miami, FL, Walter Hendrix, Jr. (Marianne), Kelley A. Butler (Brady) of Keller, TX; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends to include the Hendrix, Young, Calhoun, Cox, Lundy, Jolly, Robinson, Buie, Chamber, Chastain and Randall families.
