Homegoing celebration for Mr. Larry Jenkins of Tampa, FL who passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 will be held Wednesday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Larry J. Jenkins was born May 21, 1953 in Quincy Florida to the late Tom Jenkins and Ollie George. Larry enjoyed playing music, watching football and spending time with his family. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Ollie Jenkins; son, Joe Jenkins; daughter, Tammy Jenkins; brother, Timothy Jenkins; aunts, Mattie Woodard and Betty Sue; uncles, Albert Jenkins, Sr. and Rob Jenkins; mother-in-law, Pearl Rawls and nephew, Leonard Walker. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with wife, Patricia Jenkins; children, Keith Jenkins and Larry Jenkins; grandchildren, DeAndre Jenkins (Mesha) and Jonika Jenkins; great grandchildren, Trovon Jenkins, Trinity Jones and Drayannah Jenkins; brothers, Tommy Jenkins (Rosalyn) and Lenerzo Jenkins (Nita); sisters, Chris (Jonny), Pecola, Betty (John), Vivian (Earnest); aunt, Geneva Jenkins; uncles, Jerry Moore and Charlie; father-in-law, Jacke Rawls; sisters-in-law, Renod (Alton), Sandra (Leroy) and Jance; cousin, Queen Bryant; special friends, The Carroll Family, The Reese Family and The Woodard Family; special neighbor, Lisa (Tim); special thanks; St. Josephs Hospital and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and relatives. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11th from4 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Wednesday for the service.
