Homegoing services for Mr. Larry Eugene Nance, Sr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013, will be held on Wednesday, May 15th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Linda Reese, officiating. Interment will follow. Larry was born September 14, 1955 in Tampa, Florida. He was a graduate of Tampa Catholic High School and University of Florida. Larry enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Vinson and brother, Allen Nance. He leaves to cherish his memory: children, Larry Nance, Jr. and Tomeka Jones; a loving mother, Doris V. Saddler; brothers, Vanoy Nance and Jerry Coleman; sisters, Carolyn Nance and Sharon Nance (Fernandis); grandmother, Estella Vinson; aunts, Willie Mae Williams, Kimberly Vinson and Darrell Vinson; uncles, William Vinson (Jeanette) and Edward Vinson; sister-in-law, Ollie Roundtree; nieces, LaShonda Whitehead, Keisha Nance, Lodeira Vassell, LaWanda Whitehead and Keon Nance; nephews, Torrie Warren, Christopher Frances and Silton Harrell; cousins, Terrell Williams, Rosalinde Aikens (Teryl), Toya Burney, Deborah Kelly (Earl), Jimmy Williams, Nitaka Walker, Darnell Nash, Kevin Henderson and Gloria Butts; great nieces and nephews, Terriah Matthew, Dashon Lattimore, Taylor, Jackson and Jerod Larry and Jamar Gallmon; best friend, Carl Hayes; special friends, Rev. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel one hour prior to the service. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service.
