Larry was born on March 9, 1955, to the late James Vickers, Sr., and Annie Jean Vickers. He was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System and attended Tampa Bay Technical High School.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, James Vickers, Sr., sister, Donna Hollins; great-grandmother, Emma Burston; grandmother, Rosa Lee Bankston and grandson, Jared Harrell.

He leaves to cherish memories:
children, Larry Vickers, Jr. (Lateasha), Charmine, LaRissa, Candice, and Makayla; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; mother, Annie Jean Vickers; brothers, James, Jr. (Joanne), and Danny Vickers; sisters, Rosa Vickers James (Herman), Shirley Vickers Roberson (James) and Vickie Vickers Mack; uncle, Robert Bankston; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
