Homegoing services for Ms. LaShawn Brown "Lovely" of Tampa, who passed away on September 26, 2012, will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Progressive M.B. Church, 2504 E. Chipco Ave, with Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks pastor, officiating. LaShawn was born on May 1, 1968 in Tampa, Florida. She was a member of St. John Progressive M.B. Church. LaShawn was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, class of 1986. She was employed by Verzion Wireless. LaShawn enjoyed racquet ball, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalind Brown; grandparents, Thomas and Katie Mae Wade, Lasco Brown and Annie Myrl Cole; aunts, Brenda Wade and Doris Brown; niece Malayah Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Shantikia Douglas; father, Willie Brown, Sr.; brothers, Willie Brown, Jr. (Lyla) and Silvester Brown; sisters, Debora Taylor (Willie) and Sherica Brown; aunts, Cynthia Wade and Barnettie Wade; uncles, Gene Johnson, Thomas Everett Wade, Jr., Thomas Wade, Arthur Cole (Kathy), Jimmy Williams, Oris Broxton (Lavada) and Cleveland Russ (Rhonda); nieces, Sierra Brown, Wilkierra Brown, Silniya Brown, Neavaeh Brown, Niaja Brown, Latoya McAllister, Shantwaniqua Milhouse and Zanyah McAllister; nephews, James Nicholaus, Willie Brown III, Antwan Brown and William McAllister III; cousins, Charlotte Brown-Hall, Samantha Thomas, Melissa Thomas, Sheronda Thomas, David Gay, Jr., Thomas Wade Jr., Corey Jones, Torey Askew, Jerres Thomas, Charlie Edon, Derrick Edon, Datiana Gay, David Gay, Jr., Malik Gay, Kharahn Gay, Ishmeal Gay, Dameer Gay, Daniyah Gay, Adrian Brown, Anton King, Anthony King, Arkisha Hall,Calvin Cole, Chris Cole, Ebony Cole, Darryl Williams, Nicholaus Williams, Zamara Williams, Lexus Williams, Shamari Brown, Dariniek Keefer, Shamera Bryant, Karimah Bryant, Khadija Bryant, Isis Bryant, Mark Stanford (Deidra), Marcus Taylor, LaSandra Dyer-Henderson (Darryl); special friends, Joseph Vanterpool and Darryl O'Cain; and a host of other sorrowing family and friends.
