Homegoing services for Ms. La'Toya Y'evette Williams of Tampa who passed away on Monday, December 8, 2008 will be held Tuesday, December 16th, at 1:00 p.m., St. Paul AME Church, 506 E. Harrison St., Rev. Bryant A. Fayson, pastor and Rev. Jean Davis, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. La'Toya was born October 1, 1983 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She attended the schools of Hillsborough County and was a longtime resident of Tampa, Florida. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. La'Toya's grandfathers who have passed away, Jeremiah Williams and Willie Bynes. La'Toya was blessed to be surrounded by a large family to cherish her memories: devoted and loving parents, mother, Tina R. Gadsden (Anthony) and father, Robert Jones, II; brothers, Rontazesse D. Williams, Antoine Cook of Virginia Bch., VA, RoJaughn Z. Jones, T.J., LaVonn Evans and Josiah Jones of Tampa; grandparents, Alice P. Williams and Mary E. Jones-Bynes; great grandmother, Eula Williams, Virginia Bch, VA; godmother, Hazel Fenton, Moyock, NC; special tribute, Charles Griffin, Virginia Bch., VA, Vernelda Filer Jones and Sandra Renee Jones, Tampa, Florida; uncles, Nathaniel Williams, Sr., Micheal Bell, Virginia Bch., VA and Reginald Jones, Tampa; aunts, Selena A. Williams-Nobles, Virginia Bch., VA, Kim Jones-Johnson (Derrick) Houston, TX, Rhonda Macky, Chesapeake, VA, and Gwendolyn Delawrence Franco; special cousins, Nat, Lakey, and Steve Williams, Virginia Bch., VA, Tristan and Brooklyn Delawrence, Virginia Bch., VA, Derrek and Demarr Johnson, Houston, Filers, Aikens, Flowers, Spencer, Wright and Raines families; best-friends, Dannean McDaniel, Tampa; FL, La' Toya's only niece, Victoria Cooke; and a host of great uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. The remains will repose at St. Paul A.M.E. Church on Monday, December 15th, from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The funeral cortege will arrange from 2511 19th Avenue.
