Mr. Learin McGruder was born on June 30, 1935, to parents Alfred and Mary McGruder. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Byron McGruder andAlfred McGruder Jr., and sisters,Mary Rose Hockey andRuby Mad Poole.He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories his wife, Robbie Lou McGruder; children,Learon McGruder (Melissa McGruder), Stacey McGruder, Robert McGruder; grandchildren,Howard McGruder, Calvin McGruder, Takeisha Green(Kinley Green), Kevin McGruder, Keeyon McGruder, and Chantericka Moran. A total of 13 great-grandchildren; brother,Nathaniel McGruder; sisters,Edith Mae Denson and Vera Clarke. As well as a host of friends and family.
