Leatha was born on January 31, 1949, in Thonotosassa, Florida. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She was a devoted employee and an engineer with The Honeywell corporation for more than 30 years. She loved the Lord and accepted Him as her Savior at an early age. Her passion was her children, and grandchildren, cooking, and shopping. Leathas door was always open to many. She loved her family and friends very much and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Johnny Brown and Ms. Pearlie Mae Mitchell Timmons; eight brothers, and three sisters.

She leaves to mourn her memory: sons, Reginald L Allen and Bobby Martin Johnson; daughter, Regenia V Allen, all of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Dominique Elisa Edge, Reginald Deadre Allen, Tanisha Watkins, Reginald Labron Allen, Tamia Richardson, Antwan Wynn, Nyterria Allen, Royal Allen; great-grandchildren, Cahniyah Watkins, Carli Watkins, Janylah Marshall, Nehemiah Sincere Scott, Jamaria Marshall, Anaiya Rocha Edge, Journee Lashawn Edge; sisters, Mattie McPherson (Samuel), Carolyn Lee, Joyce Hudge, Mary Young (Jerry), Genevieve Johnson (Walter), all of Tampa, FL., Alfreda Brown, of Thonotosassa, FL.; brothers, Ralph Timmons, Samuel Timmons, Ricky M. Timmons (Lisa), Lawrence Brown (Lillie), all of Tampa, FL.; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends
