Obituary

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lee Maude Tripp "BaeBae" of Tampa, Florida who passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 will be held Saturday, July 13th at 11:00 a.m., Greater Mt. Moriah P.B. Church, 1225 N. Nebraska Ave, with Elder Benji S. McMiller Senior Pastor of Nazareth P.B. Church, Charlotte, NC, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Lee Maude Tripp was born March 4, 1935 in Cottondale, Florida to the late Liddon Wynn, Sr. and Maude Copeland. She attended school in Jackson County before moving to Tampa. Lee Maude was united in holy matrimony on November 28, 1956 to K.D. Tripp, Sr. she was employed as a cook for various restaurants and a domestic engineer for families in Tampa. Lee Maude was a member of the Eastern Star Hadassah No. 130 and enjoyed being a homemaker cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren, feeding the neighborhood and helping others. She was a cheerful person, full of life and fun and always put a smile on your face. Lee had a great sense of humor and created a name for everyone she met to remember them. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Christine Powell, Liddon Wynn, Jr. and Zannie Wynn and son, K.D. Tripp, Jr. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with her husband of 56 years, K.D. Tripp, Sr.; daughters, Laura Tripp and Barbara Tripp; step-son, Elmore Garrett (Cynthia), Greenwood , FL; godson, Bill Johnson; son-in-law, Wade Mosley; grandchildren, Trevar Mosley, Lateefah Tripp, Marcellas Derr-Tripp, Gregory Tripp, Nicole Tripp, Courtney Timmons, Erica Tripp and Asia Mosley; great grandchildren, Akela Simmons, Jameer Fletcher, Nehry Freeman, Trent and Malaya Tripp; sister, Lois Weems; step-brother, Mizell Webb (Joyce), Cottondale, FL; sisters-in law, Linda Dean (Leonard), Miami, FL, Agnes Gray (Sam), Minnie F. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday, July 12th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
