Obituary

Funeral services for Ms. Lekenya Natasha Cooper of 2339 Campus Club Court, Apt. 202, who passed away November 28, 2009, will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Victory Tabernacle M. B. Church, 2716 North 34th Street, Tampa, FL with Rev. Eugene Sanders, Jr., eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Lekenya (Kema) was a native of Tampa. She was born to Ricky Coston and Evora L. Cooper. She received her education in the public schools of Hillsborough County graduating from Brandon High and received a degree from the Technical School in Nursing. In her early years she was a member of Victory Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Mrs. Willie Mae Moten, great grandfathers, George Watkins, Sr. and Lonnie Cooper, uncles, Andrew Jackson and Carlton Cooper, aunt, Gloria E. Key and cousin, Milo Cooper. She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Kenneth Sampson, Jr., loving and devoted mother, Evora L. Cooper and father figure, Earnest Nobles; father, Ricky Coston; fiancAC.e, Kenny Sampson; grandmother Aileane M. Cooper; great grandfather, Sylvester Moten ( Rev. Sharon); step-grandmother, Barbara Cooper, Baltimore, MD; brothers and sisters, Lakeisha and Octavious Grayson, Anthony, Ernest, Timothty, Ernesia and Devon Nobles, Robin Flowes, Samantha Howard, Antoinette and Antwan Jackson, both of Baltimore, MD; uncles, Kenneth J. Cooper, Johnnie W. Murray, Robert Cooper (Mary) of Odessa, Fl and George Watkins, Jr. and Wanda; aunts, Bertha Malcom, Juanita Yeoman (Ruben), Joyce Poole (Leon), niece, Ziniya A. Nobles; nephew, Omari Blackmon; cousins, Synthia Moten, Charlene Moten, Rodney Moten, Zeron Moten, Darren Moten, Carlene Pearson, Yolanda Robinson, Verdeil Cooper, Bianca Cooper, Kike Cooper, Charkeena McKinnie, Zekevia Hall, Zeron Moten, Jr., Marlon Moten, Carlysia Levert, Terikeena Wiliams, Cydnee Butler, Milan Robinson, Tray'Riveo Callaway, Joyce Moten, Elias Kimber, Ti'Ajah Hall, Darren Moten, Keith Watkins and all of the Nobles and Washington families; close friends, Trice, Tasha, Sabrina, Nicole, Mesia, Con, Shondalete, Sharita, Miosha, Ernestine, Donna, Toya, Megan, Lynn, Egypt, Tavaris Daniels; a very special thanks to the Rutledge Family; and a host of other relatives and friends. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 11th from 5-8 pm. The family will receive friends starting at 5 pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 10:45 a.m.
