Leon was born November 14, 1977, to Leon Christopher, Sr., and Joyce Christopher in Tampa, FL. With a heart as vast as the Florida sunsets he cherished, Leon Christopher, Jr. left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Leon embodied the spirit of his cityloyal, vibrant, and always ready for a good time. A true Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, Leon rode the waves of triumph and tribulation with his team, his unwavering loyalty is a testament to his character. But it wasnt just his love for the Bucs where Leon shone brightest; it was in the laughter he shared, the joy he spread, and the warmth he exuded. Leon had a knack for turning strangers into friends, effortlessly weaving connections with his magnetic charm and infectious smile. His Facebook posts were not just updates; they were windows into his soul, brimming with humor, authenticity, and an unmistakable zest for life. Though Leons physical presence may be absent, his essence lives on in the hearts of all who were touched by his boundless love. From his laid-back demeanor to his hearty laughter, Leons memory dances in the stories shared and the smiles exchanged in his honor.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Campbell, Jr., Claretha Young, and Johnnie and Sallie Mae Christopher; aunts, Bridgette Gipson, Antoinette Young, Darlene Beck, Shirley Christopher, Jewel Christopher, and Selena Manning; uncles, Clint and Herbert Christopher; brother, Kareem Wright; best friend Desmond.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents, Leon Christopher, Sr. and Joyce Christopher; grandmother, Frances Campbell; children, Benjamin, Ayana, Jarih, Caleb, Malachi; granddaughter, Miyahni; sisters, Latesha, Latoya and Jeneatha Christopher, Keetha Kemp (Danny) and five additional sisters; brothers, Leonard, Keon, Laron, Cedric, Reginald, Virgil, and five additional brothers; aunts, April Davidson (Marcus), Deborah Abdullah, Cynthia Butler, Esther Butler, Christine Young, Yolanda Gipson, Ethel Christopher, and Necola Salters; uncles, Willie Campbell III, Vincent Campbell, Alton Gipson, Archie Young, Reginald Butler, and John Christopher; best friend, Markus Leverette; fur-nephews, Jackson and jett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him tremendously.
