Homegoing celebration for Mr. Leon Legendre of Tampa, Florida who passed away, Saturday, June 6, 2015 will be held Wednesday, June 10th, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Rev. Michael Nealy, officiating. The interment will follow. Leon Legendre was born in Trinidad to the late Laquie Legendre and Lena Paul on August 4, 1932.He enjoyed reading historical and political books. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Legendre; brother, Lennox Legendre and daughter, Carol Muhammad. He leaves to cherish his memories with a loving wife, Joan Legendre; daughter, Candy Fournillier; son-in-law, Franklyn Fournillier; grandchildren, Semone R. Fournillier, Jonathan L. Fournillier and Nicholas Mohammed; great grandchild, Amaya Mohammed and a host of other relatives and friends. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Wednesday for the service.
