Homegoing services for Mr. Leroy Harden, Sr., who passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010, will be held Saturday, July 17th, 2:00 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. M.L.K., Jr. Blvd., Bishop W.L. Lee, Pastor, New Smyrna Church, officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, on Monday, July 19th at 11 a.m. Mr. Harden was born September 12, 1941 in Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Harden, Sr. and Beatrice Briggs; stepmother, Annie Pearl Harden; and brother, John Harden. Mr. Harden is survived by his wife, Ruth Jackson; children, Gloria Bryant (Solomon), Samantha Burgess (Gene), Regina Harden (Jacquelyn), Lolita Mathis, Carla Mosley (Bobby), Latasha Harden, Leroy Harden, Jr., Jessie Harden, Gregory Harden (Barbara), Anthony Harden, Larry Coleman (Wendy) and Keith Harden; grandchildren, Jwana, Natasha, Konica, Tisha, Johnetta, Antwan, Phillip, Junria, Algernon, Jean, Jamal, Phillip, Lavar, Alex, Destiny, Jacob, Jackson, Greyana, Marcel and Greg, Jr.; brother, Robert Harden, Jr., sister, Ernestine Spivey; aunts, Ruth Evan, Julie White, Ann Campbell and Yvonne Campbell; uncle, Isaiah Campbell; nieces, Rhonda Butler and Sonya Harden; nephews, Keith Harden, Cedric Harden and Bruce Harden, cousins, Tracy Herrington, Eugene Harden, Ruben Mitchell, Virgil Campbell and Raymond Coles; brother-in-law, Jimmie Jackson; sister-in-law, Rose Jackson of Tampa, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dear friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 16th from 5-8 pm. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel by 1:45 p.m.
