A true son of Tampa, Leroy attended King High School, where he began to cultivate his myriad of interests, ranging from sports to the arts. Leroy's passion for football, baseball, and basketball was evident to anyone who shared a game with him, either on the field or as he cheered from the sidelines. His love for music was just as profound, with hip-hop tunes often providing the soundtrack to his life's most memorable moments. Leroy's creative spirit shone brightly through his guitar playing, his evocative drawings, and his skillful maneuvers around a pool table. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Leroy will remember him as a loving and kind individual, whose creative flair was matched only by his generous spirit. Leroy will also be deeply missed by his special friend, Donna, who brought tremendous happiness and companionship to his life. His legacy will continue to thrive within a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were all an integral part of his journey. Preceding him in death was a beloved brother whose memory Leroy held close to his heart, along with his grandparents and a host of family members who had passed on before him.
