Obituary

Lillie was born and raised in Clayton, Alabama to John Richard and Janie Deloach. She later married John Henry Rivers and to that union they had four beautiful children; Johnnie Mae, Geneva, Henry Mac and Doris. Lillie moved to Tampa in 1959, where she worked for Town Laundry and SunState. She was a member of New Friendship M.B. Church until she started having health problems. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 grandsons, husband and 3 children. She is survived by a loving and devoted daughter; Geneva Jones, 1 sister; Sweet Artis Wilson; 3 sisters-in-law; Louise White (George) Clayton, Alabama, Georgia Lee Deloach, Clayton, Alabama, Maria Williams, Tampa; 1 brother-in-law, Wilbert Wilson, Tampa; granddaughters, Tonya L. Rivers, Tampa, Charlotte C. Culliver (Marcus) Atlanta, Georgia; grandsons, Antonio L. Rivers, Tampa, Anthony T. McDuffie (Lynette) Suffolk, VA, Reginald M. Rivers (Tonia), Norfolk, VA, Eric Rivers, Louisville, Alabama; 19 great grandchildren, De'Andre, Dominique, Donovan, Jalissa, Trent, Isaiah, Brandon, Ariel, Quinton, Dexter, Sierra, De'Andre, Andrew, Caleb, Brianna, Ryan, Christopher, Alexis, Rico; 2 great-great grandchildren, LeBrandon and Kenneth; nieces, Barbara Douglas, Lawanda Brown, Angela Brown, Shirley Culver, Johnnie Mae West (Tip), Maxine Riley, Francis Smith, Lavon Palmer, Betty Goodwin (Leon) Brenda Gatlin (Melvin) and Janie Smith (LC); nephews, Obie Deloach, Timothy Brown, Larry Brown, Jerry Brown, Samuel Brown (DeDe) Rufus Palmer, Freddie Palmer, Ricky Palmer and Johnnie Brown; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
