Obituary

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lillie Mae Shuler Williams of Tampa, Florida who passed a on Monday May 24, 2021 will be held on Saturday June 5th, 12:00 p.m. at Northside M.B. Church 5706 N. 40th St., Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor; Rev. Laytecia McKinney, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lillie Mae Shuler Williams was born July 12, 1943 in Meigs, GA. Lillie was a god-fearing woman who met no strangers. She enjoyed cooking, going to yard sales and flea markets. Her favorite past time was watching WWE Wrestling she retired from USF Housing Auxillary Dept. She was preceded in death by her spouse, James Williams, Sr.; parents, Robert and Lorene Shuler and brother, Robert McBride. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with children, Tangela (Joe), Ellen 'Lisa', Theresa and Helena Green, Michael Edoga all of Tampa, Florida Eugene (Etha) Williams of Lakeland, Florida, Gladys Bush (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) and Margaret Hilliard (Newark, NJ); grandchildren, Tameka Knott (Larry), Ashely Hills, William Green, Iva Phillips (Anthony), Chauncey Flowers, Miracle Jones (Tampa, FL), Sandra Taylor and Chiniqua Johnson (Atlanta, GA), Sharon (Henry) Baby of Orlando, FL and Keetra Williams of Upper Marlboro, MD, Michael (Robbie) Bullock, Michelle Bullock of Bowie, MD, Michael Bullock, Jr. (Aldie, VA) and April Denmark of Winter Haven, FL.; a host of great grandchildren; brothers, Rudolph and Clinton (Lydia) Shuler; sisters, Sylvia McFarlane (Jasper), Eva Simon, Margarete Harris (Willie), Ruby Thomas, Annie Bell Mills (Tampa, FL); cousins reared as siblings, Marie (James) Brown of Whigham, GA and Albert Shaw, Jr. (Tampa); aunts, Irene (Benjamin) Green, Sarasota, FL, Me Mee Chism of Lake Placid, FL and Bessie Wright (Charleston, SC); uncles, Roosevelt (Connie) Shuler of Sarasota, FL, Sammie, Jerome and James Shuler of Lake Placid, FL; nieces, Yolanda and Ellen Reynolds of Dothan, AL, Teresa Shuler of Palatka, FL, Ilona Munos (Charles), Carla Thomas, Marilyn Gadsen, Carolyn and Kim Mills, Tajuana and Shomika Shuler, Vanetta Scott (Tampa, FL); nephews, William Johnson Sr., Mardell Oliver (Erica), George Murray, III (Naomi), Demetric Lucas, Ellis Jr. and David Mills, Denard Thomas (Tampa, FL) and Rudolph Shuler, Jr. (Palatka); cousins, Sims, Jones, Holmes, Johnson, London, Gilbert and Shuler families; lifelong family and friends, Hattie Parker and Nellie Chaney; best friends, Nellie Wallace, Annie Bell Brown, Ethel Frambro and Doretha Ware; devoted neighbors, Watson, Wiley, Wiggins and Harris Families; godchildren, Dorothy Beazer, Cassia Hawkins, Pastor Theresa Johnson and Renee McKenzie (Shaq).

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 4th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
