Homegoing services for Mrs. Lillier D. Reed of 7517 N. 40th Street, who passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010, will be held Saturday, December 4th, 10:00 a.m. at Revealing Truth Ministries, 5201 N. Armenia Ave., with Pastor Powe, officiating. Interment will follow. Lillier was born September 19, 1949 to Rev. Mack and Edna Mae Gardner in Gainesville, Florida. Lillier loved to read, praise God and take care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isadore Reed, Jr., parents, daughter, Katrina Hardon, brothers, Jimmy Joe and Spencer Gardner and nephews, Solomon Gardner, Jr. and Warir Gardner. Lillier leaves to cherish her memories: 2 children, Rose Thomas and Isadore Reed, III; grandchildren, De'Shawn Tucker, Alexander Johnson, Shareese (Reesecup) Reed and Iyana Reed; brothers, Solomon Gardner, Sr. and Lindsey Gardner (Ernestine) of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Elena G. Gardner, Barbara Gardner, Maxine Blane (Rufus) and Joyce Damore (Mark); nieces, Carmen N. Brantley-Payne (Ivan), Vicky Gardner and Kia Gardner; nephews, Vashon D. Gardner, Lamondo Gardner (Tangy), Chris Gardner and Ty Gardner; great nieces and nephews, Cavana Payne, Kaliyah Gardner, Sabrina, Xavier and Breanna Gardner, Dave Ross, and Brittney Elting; friends, Joyce Mitchell, Janice Chandler and Ray Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends and co-worker's of St. Joseph's. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service on Saturday.
