Obituary

Mr. Lindsey Harris, born January 3, 1950, in Tampa, Florida, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. Lindsey was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends, biking through his community, and skating—activities that reflected his energetic and vibrant spirit. He will be remembered for his warmth, his passion for living, and the love he shared with those around him.

He was preceded in death by his loved ones: mother, Mildred Ashford-Santana; father, Otis Harris, Sr.; brother, Otis Harris, Jr.; sister, Thelma J. Harris; and nephew, Mario Scott.

Lindsey leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Lindsey Lamar, Sr., Anthony Harris, Roland Owens, and Lindsey Harrell; daughters, Dr. Trinicia Murphy and Shannan Harris. He was a proud grandfather to Lindsey Lamar, Jr., Nigel Harris, Dominic Harris, Brandon R. Harris, Sachem Parkin-Owens, A'Nia Harris, Lia Harris, Savannah Harris, Lindsey Harris, Brandon Harris, Anthony Harris, Jr., Zedrick Cohen, and Javaris Bowden, Jr. He is also survived by his sisters, Gwendolyn Griffin and Mai Shirley Oglesby; nephews, Vince Edwards, Corey Harris, and Gregory Harris; nieces, Okeya Harris, Tracy Scott and Andrea Santana, along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Mr. Lindsey Harris's life was a testament to love, family, and resilience. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
