Williams
Jan 6, 1956 — Jun 23, 2026
Tampa
Lindy Annette Williams was born on January 6, 1956, in Alachua, Florida. Lindy received her education at Leto High School, where she formed lifelong memories and friendships that reflected her warm and genuine spirit. She later found purpose and fulfillment in her career at Whispering Oaks, where she faithfully dedicated 26 years of service. Her commitment, compassion and strong work ethic earned the respect and admiration of those who had the privilege of working alongside her. Outside of her career, Lindy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved listening to music, dancing and spending peaceful moments in the comfort of her home—a place that, for more than thirty years, was filled with laughter, cherished memories, and the love of family and friends. One of her greatest joys was sitting on her front porch with her loved ones, sharing conversations, laughter and creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured. Lindy will be remembered for her selflessness, steadfast faith and unwavering dedication to those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Simmons; and brother, Jim Simmons, Sr (Alva).
