Linnie, affectionately referred to by her middle name "Pearl", was born on December 28, 1939, in Patsburg, AL., to Woodrow Armstrong and Lennie Mae Williams. Her family meant everything to Linnie. Before her illness, she loved cooking, keeping her house clean, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by Woodrow Armstrong (Ociller) and Lennie Mae Williams; son, John Thomas Clark, Jr.; grandchildren, Kameron Armstrong and Jaakan Chinua Lewis-Clark; granddaughter, Alexia Denise Clarkston; brothers, Johnny Grady Armstrong and Cleveland Armstrong; and sister, Lacy B. Dean.
She leaves precious memories with her husband, John (JT) Clark; children, Margie Foster Edmead, Jacqueline Clark, Sharon Pattmon, Tuvache Roberts (Arthur), Mylene Clark (Andrae), Woodrow Armstrong (Rhonda), and Louis Clark; grandchildren, Charles McDonald (Danielle), Jelani Cox, Tiffany Edmead (Tim), Tor Armstrong, Jabari Armstrong, Rasheedah Armstrong, Woodrow Armstrong, Valerie Dove, Tobaris Arrington, Henry McCarthy (Andrea), Chase McCarthy, Salina Green, Lorenzo, Commie, and Corey Pattmon, Takesha, Tameka (Devin), and Aisha Clark, Sherese and Shandrea Glenn, Tuvonshay Knight, Arthur Roberts II, and Destini and Aloni Smith; a host of great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse Armstrong (Dianne), Timothy Williams, and John Williams, all of Gainesville, FL.; sister, Gabriel McDaniel of Jacksonville, FL.; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; special son, Dwight Norton; special daughter, Sheila Glenn; caregiver, Barbara Herrera; special friend, Janie Melvin Adams; special children, Mary Norman Strange, Rochelle Norman, and Patsy Gamble; and many more "adopted" children that she loved and whom loved her back.
