Lizzie was born on April 30, 1922 in Jenkins, Georgia. She enjoyed cooking, keeping children and fishing. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Young, mother, Margaretta Young, husband, Leonard Hunter, sons, Leonard Hunter Jr., Homer Hunter, Sr., and Ralph Hunter, daughter, Judy Hunter, brothers, Lonnie Roy Young and Robert Young, sisters, Mattie Mae Stamper and Minnie Lee Clemons. She is survived by her children, Lucious Hunter Sr., and wife, Ann, Leroy Hunter Sr., and wife, Elouise Brown (Dean), Annie Lois Walker and husband, Edwin, Charlotte Everett (Ricky), daughters-in-law, Emma Hunter and Mamie Hunter; 22 grandchildren; special great grandson, Anthony Paca Harris, 48 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; brother, Melvin Young, sister, Kathrine Lane, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host a host of sorrowing long time friends, Agnes Williams and family, Kate Bennett and family, KaTina Johnson, Pastor., Joe Jackson and family, JB Williams and family and Lucy Nieves and family. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Friday evening. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel for the service.
