Mr. Lonnie J. Williams, affectionately known as "Sonny," was born on September 28, 1946, in Shorterville, Alabama, to the late JW and Cora Lee Williams. Sonny was a spirited and passionate man who found joy in martial arts, particularly karate and kickboxing. His discipline and strength were evident not only in sport but throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rethia Grace; and brother, JC Williams.

He leaves to cherish his beloved wife of many years, Cynthia Williams; loving children, Tricia Johnson, Michelle Moore, and Rebecca Brown (Bobby, Jr.); grandchildren, Karl Reed, Jr., Michael Tiller, Jr., Jordan Moore, Bobby Brown III, Ahmarean Brown, Zhanye Brown, Leo Wilson, Jr., Ca'Dyn Brown, and Zoee Brown; great-grandchildren, Myah Brown, Lulani Najih, and Rian Brown; sister, Essie Lomack; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever remember his warmth, resilience, and the legacy he leaves behind.
