Homegoing services for Minister Lorenzo Joseph Green Jr., of Tampa, who passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 will be held Saturday, June 13th 11:00 a.m. at Praise Outreach Bible Study Church, 4305 N. 36th Street, Reverend Dr. Gloria Johnson, Sr. Pastor with Pastor Adrian Taylor, officiating. The internment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Lorenzo was born to Lorenzo and Eteva Green on February 2, 1970. He was affectionately known to family and friends by "Lo" or "Sonny". He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. He came to know Jesus Christ as his personal savior early in life and the Lord called him home saying, "Well done thy good and faithful servant". Lorenzo was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memories and endearing thoughts: his devoted wife of 17 years, Sabrina Green; 3 daughters, Irena Green, Chicarra Green and Dominique Green all of Tampa; son, Lorenzo Green, Tampa; brothers, Timothy Green, Johnny Green (Christen) and Dallas Green, all of Tampa and Adrian Taylor (Courtney) of Gainesville, FL; sister, Delilah Green of Tampa; grandchildren, Taliah Borders, Tavaris Borders and Jayonna Reed; nieces and nephews, Deontae Green, Delisha, Dearlo and Eteva Busby, Timothy Green, Antonio McKinley, Malijah Johnson, Rodeisha Mingo, Hakeem Wright, Camron Mingo, Johnny Green, Jr. and Alexis Taylor; god-parents, Louis Davis (Loretta) and Leotis Fredrick (Mary); god-children, Eric Brown, LaShawn Mingo, Imari Sandlin, Mylah Remigio, Eli, Levert, and Garvin Sims; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 12th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The friends and family are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
