A Celebration of Life graveside service for Mrs. Lossie Allen of Tampa, Florida who passed away Thursday, August 12th, 2021, will be held on Saturday, August 21st, 2021, at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E Chelsea St, Tampa, FL 33610., Rev Michael Jenkins, pastor officiating.

Lossie Mae Allen was born on March 21st, 1931, in Colquitt, Georgia to the late Eulie C. King and Ada Riggins. She attended Old Bethel school. She was the oldest of 8 children Lossie enjoyed fishing, cooking, going to church, and singing. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was employed with Dixie Linen for 9 years and was a foster parent for over 20 years with the state of Florida caring for children including Terry Saffold, Charles Hall, Tiera Hall, Leila Parrish, and many more. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Allen; son, Mack C. Allen; sister, Pearlie Mae White and brothers, Charley Lee, and Zeddie Ware.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; daughter, Donieceia Allen; son, Eric Saffold; godson, Micheal Jenkins, Jr.; grandchildren, Keyvus Smalls, Jessie Iverson, Justin Iverson, Zuri Mitchell, Tracy Gates, (Samuel), Antwan Allen (Yolanda Jones), and Mack Allen, Jr; 7 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Charley Mae Perry, Fanny Benton (Nehemiah), Ethel Benton, and Mattie Bell (Philmore) Bell; one brother Joe Riggins (Eldora); sister in law, Betty Graves, brother in law, Ronnie Daniels, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
