Louise Richardson
Belin
January 14, 1941 – January 17, 2025
Mrs. Louise Richardson Belin was born on January 14, 1941, in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Eugene and Willie Mae Richardson. Louise attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. Her family affectionately called her "Grandma, LB, Lou Lou, and Mommy". Louise passed away quietly at the age of 84, three days after her birthday. After moving to Florida, her family made their home in the Sulphur Springs Community. She was baptized at an early age and attended Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. After a decade, she later joined the First Missionary Baptist Church of Highland Pines. Louise enjoyed being with family and friends, She helped raise several of her nephews and nieces. Louise worked at the University of South Florida in housekeeping for numerous years and was last employed with Ippolitio's Restaurant as a cook.
She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching her children participate in sports activities, as well as watching television, and dancing, but most of all, she enjoyed reading her bible and listening to her grandchildren sing to her. Her favorite book in the bible was Psalms 23 "The Lord is My Shephard". Our mother enjoyed singing and listening to Willie Banks: " God is Still in Charge, Lord I Know You have Been So Good, and Lee Williams & Spiritual QC's: Cooling Water. Louise was a strong and feisty woman. She had a way with words that would have you in tears, "I'm not dumb and I'm not stupid", "I can pray for myself", and "My Lord and Savior will see through". For those who knew her well, she also had a few "special" words, and you know what they were.
Louise was preceded in death by: husband, Andrew L. Belin; parents, Eugene and Willie Mae Richardson; grandparents, Grandpapa and Grammy Jones; sister, Elouise Richardson; brother, Willie Lee Pearson; son, Andrew F. Belin; uncles, James Mack and George Stribling; grandson, Algernon L. Belin, Jr.; and nephew, Calvin T. Richardson. As "God Welcomed" Louise R. Belin into her heavenly home.
