Obituary

Homegoing services for Mother Louise Marshall, 91, who passed away on January 9, 2013, at her home, will be Saturday, January 19th, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive M.B. Church, 4008 E. Cayuga Street, Rev. Michael White, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones. She was born in Fairfax, South Carolina to the late Janie Walker and Lonnie Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orrie Priester, son, Robert Priester, Sr., grandson, Rudy Priester, granddaughter, Margaret "Stephanie" Priester, and a loving sister, Alberta Staten. She attended public schools in South Carolina. She was employed by the Jack Eckerd Family for over 30 years. She united with Mount Olive M. B. Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. C. P. Epps, where she served with the Number I Choir, Mother's Board and attended the Senior Women Sunday School Class and Bible Study. She continued to serve under Reverend Michael White until God called her home. She was a regular van rider and enjoyed fellowship with the regular riders. She is survived by three daughters and one son: Margaret Autry (Isaiah) of Tampa, FL; Bernice Tim (Willie) of Tampa, FL; Mary Ellen Ross (Otis) of Sodus, New York, and Bobby Priester (Mary) of Valrico, FL; 41 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, and her extended Eckerd Family and other loved ones along with special friends, Dot Larry, Frances Helms, Minnie Gant, Etha German, Mothers' Board and her Mount Olive Church family. The viewing will be at the church one hour before the service. The Family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., January 18th at 410 W. Frances. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
