Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lucille Timmons Walker, who was also known as Sister Walker, who passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Melech Hospice House will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 East Chipco Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Lucille Walker was born in Lesley, Georgia on March 5, 1915 to Dave Timmons and Josephine Timmons Fuller. She moved to Tampa, Florida over seventy years ago. She was a great woman of God and loving matriarch of her family. She leaves to enjoy her memory daughter, Fannie Robinson; grand daughters, Deloris Rudolph (Carwell) of Miami, Florida; Gloria Adams and Deborah Jonesia (Neil) of Tampa, Florida; grandsons, Daryn Robinson (Angie) and Micheal Peterson (Renee) of Tampa, Florida; 28 great grand children; 40 great-great grandchildren; 12 great-great great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Friday. The Family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday at 1:45 for the service.
