A Homegoing service for Mr. Luis Albeiro Mejia-Cano 'Papito' of Tampa, Florida who passed away, Wednesday, June 3, 2020, will be held on Monday, June 8th, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blv., Pastor Andres Colon, officiating. Luis Albeiro Mejia-Cano was born January 30, 1944 in Apia Risaralda, Colombia. He loved to listening to music, gardening being outside with nature and as hobby he collected watches. He was also very charming, funny and the life of the party. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Maria Melva Corrales; 6 children, Jorge Mejia-Corrales, Luz A. Mejia-Corrales, Hilda N. Mejia-Corrales, Sandra P. Mejia-Corrales, Andres Mejia-Corrales and Yefferson Mejia-Corrales; grandchildren, Isabela Mejia, Alejendro Mejia, Camila Mejia, Monica Ossa, Giancarlo Leiton, Pamela Palacio-Mejia, Sebastian Palacio-Mejia, Jasmin Florez, Maria Florez, Sebastian Florez, Angela Pulgarin, Valerie Mejia and Matius Mejia; and other family and friends.
