Ms. Lula Love was born January 6, 1942, in Statesboro, Georgia to Lester Love and Annie Bell Brown-Love.
She was preceded in death, by her parents, daughter, Gloria D. Richardson and sister, Eunice Buggs.
She was educated at Hillsborough County Public Schools and graduated from Middleton High School. Her occupational history includes a seamstress at Speedline Athletic Wear, assembly technician at Critikon Inc., as well as being a foster grandparent at Hillsborough County Head Start Program.
Lula enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting for family. She loved reading, studying the word, and holistic medicine. Lula gladly shared her knowledge with anyone she met. She found joy in thrifting for African Artifacts as well as spending time with family, friends and loved ones.
Ms. Love leaves to cherish fond memories of her sons, Alvin N. Richarson and Marlon C. Richardson, Sr.(Veronica), surrogate daughter, Misty Olivere; grandchildren, Antonio Mims (Stephonia), Shatika Howell (Jeffrey) Nitora Mims, Corey Gaston (Marquetta), Marlon C. Richardson Jr. (Geneva), Brittany Smiley (Willie), Aeryn Richardson, brother; James Love (Margaret), sister; Ruth Staley; nieces, Rita Thomas, Gwen Staley, Angela Buggs, Lorna Staley, Stephanie Buggs, and Rhonda Green (Samuel); nephews, Ricky Staley, Tony Buggs (Denise), Ray Buggs, Mario Staley, Timothy and Eric Love; a host of great grandchildren, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, friends and loved ones, and longtime friends, Mary Biggens, Ola Lawson, Glinda Brundidge, and Mattie Davis.
