Homegoing services for Mrs. Lurline Scott of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, will be held Saturday, December 13th, 11:00 a.m. at International Harvest Church of God, 5512 N. 47th Rev. Frances Maxwell, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Lurline was born to the late Percival Owens, Sr. and Violet Broomfield in Jamaica, West Indies. Lurline was preceded in death by her husband, William Scott "Scotty". She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her garden. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted children, 7 sons, Neville Salmon, Curtis Salmon, Richard Scott, Dennis Scott, Warren Scott (Dawn), Oral Scott (Alicia) and Michael Scott (Talisha); 2 daughters, Karen Scott-Kelly (Wayne) and Terri Scott; 26 grandchildren, Mishay, Karwayne, Kemar and Kaliah Kelly, Ian Russell, Damion, Sean, Neville, Jr., Anesha, Anthony, Prince Salmon, Calvin, Kadijah, Richard, Jr., Keheinde, Makayla, Amari, Samiya, Alex, Michael, Jr., Mya, Kadiyah, Akeil, Ariana and Jasmine Scott and Saniyah Smith; 6 sisters, Cherry Doctor, Pearline Salmon (Glenn), Lorette Miller (Michael), Valeri Doctor, Karlene Palmer (Michael) and Carmen Doctor; 5 brothers, Orville Owens, Leroy Doctor, Lascelles Owens, Tony Owens and Percival Owens, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 12th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
