Luther was born October 5, 1957, in Quitman, Georgia. He attended Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida and enjoyed watching football.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Phillips; mother, Molly Mosley and husband, Buck; brothers, Mooney, Roosevelt and Joseph Phillips; sister, Terri Phillips and sister-in-law, Mena.

He leaves precious memories with: wife, Beverly Mosley; children, Kimbra Parker, Luther Mosley, Jr., Alicia Nelson Baines (Kenneth, Jr.) and Aysha Gardner; grandchildren, Rodney, Kayla, King, Kynedi, Fredrick (Shawnte), Raiona (Dale, Jr.), Crandell, Sr. (Darryale), Cordell and Sariah; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Malakhia, Zuri, CJay, Cali and Cash; brothers, Sam Phillips, Larry Phillips (Sharon), John Mosley (Shanita) and Buck Mosley (Kendra); sisters, Linda Phillips and Dena Spells (Amp); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; classmates, Blayne Mitterbach and Alex Singfield; and other special friends.
