A Memorial Service for Ms. Mae Helen Thomas of Tampa, who passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011, will be held Saturday, July 30th, 1:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 7001 12th Avenue, Tampa, Fl 33619, with Father Kazimierz Domek, officiating. Ms. Mae Helen Thomas was born on January 16, 1939 in O'Brien, Florida to the late Simon and Mazie Williams. She was a retired cosmetologist, and loved knitting, crocheting, bingo and cooking. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by daughter Bernita Faye Encinosa. She leaves to cherish her memories: 3 children, Mychell (Reginald) Robinson, Cynthia Thomas and Paris Ford; 10 grandchildren, Tennille Williams, Keshia Williams, Shana Thomas, Remy (Juan) Hutches, Emmanuel (Alicia) Jackson, Rene (Joe) Sanders, Willie Thomas, Melanie Keller, Amber (Ervin) McPherson and Alicia Jackson; 19 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Lula Mae Davis; 1 brother, Edward (Judy) Collier; 1 niece, Vickie Davis; 2 nephews, Jerome (Cassandra) Davis and James Davis, and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be no viewing. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Church at 12:45 p.m. for the service on Saturday.
