Maeglena Jones was born on January 1, 1937, in Mangrove Cay, Andros Bahamas, to Walton and Roxanna Jones. She found joy in ceramic pieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walton Jones and Simeon Jones; and sisters, Cleotha Oliver, Catherine Jones, and Annis Jones.

She leaves cherished memories to her brother, Leo Jones; sisters, Roslyn Jones and Emmaline Jones; nieces, Rochelle Moultrie, Monique Mitchell, Daphne Jones, Clarrissa White, Melinda Jones, Randrea Mzena, Felicia Jones, Delecia Jones, Gwendolyn Jones, Nivolia Jones, Jaclyn Jones and Leonise Jones; nephews, Thony Oliver, Greg Oliver, Renard Oliver Craig Lewis, Keyon Dean, Wayne Jones, Arreo Ferguson, Sr., Lavardo Jones, Rory Jones, Steven Jones, and Leo Jones, Jr.; special friend, Patsy Lyles; along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
