Malissa Brewer, affectionately known as “Missy,” was born on August 25, 1971, in Tampa, Florida. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System and attended Blake High School. Missy had a passion for culinary arts and interior design, talents that allowed her creativity and personality to shine. Whether preparing something delicious or transforming a space with her special touch, she enjoyed expressing herself through the things she loved. Missy will be remembered for her loving heart, wonderful sense of humor, and the laughter and joy she brought to those around her. Above all, she treasured her family and the special moments they shared. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Green and Emma Brewer; brother, Michael Brewer; sister, Belinda Brewer; aunt, Aletha Woodberry; uncles, Eugene Brewer (Lula Mae), Levern Brewer, Otis King and Joe; and great-nephew, Isaiah McDonald. 

Missy leaves cherished memories with her only son, Xavier; daughters, Dominique, Monique, Kendra, Kimberly, Milana and Kiyona; grandchildren, Roderick Jr., Ron'nique, Starling Jr., Andrunique, Jerrious, Christian, Chris'Leah, Jermaine Jr., Keydrum Jr., Keydrum III, Keydra, Keyvin, Kenya (Baby), Allen Jr., Rhykeem, Rhykim, Kim'Mya, TyYoniah, Emily, Ma'liyah, Ma'khi, Re'Niyah, Malik, Zay'Onna, and Zay'Vionna; brother, Clarence Green Jr.; sister, Valarie Millier-Lawson; niece, Ashley; nephews, Alonzo, Damian, Antwan, and Ricky; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Missy's loving spirit, humor, creativity, and devotion to her family will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to bring smiles, laughter, and love for generations to come.
