Mrs. Maple Lois Belcher of Tampa, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. A private service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Maple was born January 6, 1937 in Geneva, Alabama and was a longtime resident of Tampa, Florida. She enjoyed helping others, sitting on her porch, cooking, playing dominoes, bingo and cards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Belcher. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her son, Don Lamar Cady and daughter, Lisa Cave of Hastings, Florida; granddaughters, Essence Jackson, A'real Bush of Tampa, Florida, Dominque Patterson of Hastings, Florida and specialist Kenisa Warren of Kuwait; god-son, Raul Cauty of Tampa, Florida; caregiver, Linda Manuel of Tampa, Florida; other relatives and dear friends who will miss her. The public visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
