Homegoing celebration for Ms. Marcy V. Williams who passed away Monday February 11, 2013 will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., with Rev. Dr. Evan Burrows, pastor, officiating. Interment will be Orange Hill Cemetery. Marcy V. Williams was born October 21, 1966 to the late Bobby Williams and Alene Freelove. She loved listening to music, butterflies and collecting photographs. She was preceded in death by father, Bobby Williams and uncle, Willie James Freelove. She leaves memories with longtime companion, Eddie Williams; daughters, Aaliyah and Marshanna Murvine; grandchild, Melody Marie Murvine, parents, Alene F. Bowers (Greg) and Delano F. Bowers; brother, Stephen Bowers; sister, Wanda Bowers; aunts, Johnnie Ruth Stewart, Margie Atwater (Gregory), Jean Freelove, Gloria Williams (William) and Jennifer Padilla; uncles, Nelson Freelove, Jr. Archie Freelove and Jerry Lee Freelove; grandmother, Viola Freelove; nephews, Jordan Greer and Michael Williams; cousins, Daltray Freelove, Brayon Jones, Jr., Candace, Regina, Wade and Jeremy Williams, Tammy and Gregory Jr., Atwater, Jessica and Joseph Jr., (Jody), Justin Padilla, Carolyn and Joanne Stewart and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The visitation will be held Friday, February 15th from 5 to 8 pm. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6: 30 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
