Margaret was born June 28, 1942, to the late Joseph B. Taylor and Susie Bell Davis Taylor in Colquitt GA. Margaret was one of 17 children, 15 preceded her in death. She was educated in the Miller County Georgia School System. After graduation, she relocated to Tampa to live with her sister, Geraldine Rodgers. She soon met the love of her life Calvin Screen, Sr., and married on July 24, 1962. Calvin was a successful entrepreneur and business owner which allowed Margaret to be a homemaker to raise their eight children. In November 1999 when the Lord called Calvin home Margaret became the matriarch of her family, the family business and continued to guide her children with wisdom. Margaret was a strong woman of faith and a lady of few words. She loved caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was caring, kind, and giving, always putting others before herself. Margaret enjoyed daily walks at the mall, shopping, and family gatherings. She was a long-time member of the Mall Walkers of Brandon. She faithfully donated to charities. Margaret enjoyed traveling to spend time with family.

Andrews (Darrick) of Riverview, FL.1 Stepson Chris Screen, Sr. of Charlotte, NC.17 grandchildren Gabriel, Antonio, Quincy, Ali, Jr., Jabari, Joseph II, Joshua J., Melnisha, Mekayla, and LaBricia Screen, Zaina A. and, Zoi Sophia Stokes, Dyamond, DeAyra , and Daniel Screen Jr, Brian D., and Brianni M. Newsome, 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Lois Taylor Irvin of Queens, NY, 2 brothers-in-law Mack Screen (Dorothy) of Bronx, NY, and Roy Screen of Newark, NJ, 2 sisters-in-law Sarah Screen of Aurora, CO, and Rebecca Screen of Lakeland, FL; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews that affectionately called her "Aunt Janice."
