Maria was born on January 21, 1947, in Mexico, to Carlos Alvarez Arias and Arcelia Oseguera. She loved shopping, eating, spending time with her family, and the casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Sebastian R. Pineda.

She leaves precious memories with her children, Cesar L. Trillo, Marisol Martinez, Pedro Pineda, and Ilsa D. Pineda; grandchildren, Vanessa Trillo, Miranda Martinez, Giovanny Martinez, Vicente Trillo, and Lennox Jones; son-in-law, Alejandro Prieto; and a host of other relatives and friends.
