Mariana was a woman defined by faith, creativity, and tough love—a blend of qualities that made her unforgettable. She loved gathering with family, sharing her exceptional cooking, laughing loudly, and bringing joy to any room she entered. She was known for her playful nature, her talkative and friendly spirit, and the generosity that flowed naturally from her heart. Her hobbies included visiting the Hard Rock Casino, creating delicious meals, and spending time with those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father, Mariana Lopez, and mother, Justo Saldana; her sister, Carmen Saldana; and her grandson, Kevin Diaz.

Mariana leaves behind a family who loved her deeply: her sons, Sammy Nieves, Henry Diaz (Carrie) of Boston, MA; daughters, Maritza Saldana and Daisy Ramjit (Jose) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Jose Luis, Josiah Gomez, Mark Anthony, Joseph Samuel, Sabastian Diaz, and Melania Diaz; beloved great-grandchildren, Zulmarie, Damian, Jayden, Yexian, Baby Boy, and Joseph Jr.; brothers, Ismael Saldana of Puerto Rico and Gasino Saldana of New York; sisters, Maria Perez of Jacksonville, Florida and Ana Lopez of New York. The 3 of them were known by many as the "The Kardashian Group." Mariana's life was one of resilience, humor, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved. Her legacy will live on through the countless meals shared, the stories told, the laughter echoed, and the love she poured into her family. Her memory will continue to be a blessing to all who knew her.
