A Homegoing Visitation for Sgt. Marvin Ray Smith who passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 will be held on Wednesday, May 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The interment will be held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

Sgt. Marvin was born November 1, 1956 in Tampa, Florida to the late Leroy and Maxine Smith. He attended Friendly Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed being around family. He was a Military Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Forrest Gilmore, Patrick Smith, Jacqueline Gilmore, Patricia Gilmore and Anthony Gilmore. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his loving sister, Mary Archie; brothers, Christopher Smith and Kenneth Smith; close friend, Charles Grant; a host of nieces and nephews that will truly miss him.

The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the visitation on Wednesday. We are following the CDC guidelines.
