Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Mary Louise Raines Brown Jackson Candis of Tampa, who passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 will be held Saturday, December 6th at 2:00 p.m., Deeper Life Christian Church, 3300 N. Nebraska Ave, Dr. Bishop M.B. Jefferson pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mary worked at the courthouse for 36 years and retired in 2011. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending all of her time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Louise Raines and grandson, Joe Christian. She leaves to cherish her memories with husband, Johnnie Candis; children, Mark (Pam), Tony (Keisha), Deidra (Sam), Devon, Tracey and Kimberly; grandchildren, Anthony, Markus, Gerry, Ste'von, Lartranette, Darius, Eric, Stephanie, Dontravious, Quinterreo, Javontae, Quannasha, Tonquica, De'Qua, Douglas, Derrell, Hyturiah and KaLeigh; great grandchildren, Amaya, Shay, Ariel La'jashia, Naliah, Nathaniel, Lil Robert, Jah Micheal, Ra'khya, Sa'-vion, Kah' Yonta, Dashya and Levi; step-mothers, Pearlie Raines and Johnnie Barron; brother, Joe Raines Jr.; sisters, Kim Raines, Joann Glenn and Mary Sales sister-in-law, Marilynn; aunts, Lois Suggs, Stella and Nazarine; nieces, Myesha Glenn and Tanika Raines; nephews, Demetrius Raines, Wilburt Coleman and Corey Coleman; cousins, Yvonne, Nat, Sharon, Ernest, Joyce Harrell, Jonoshia Gay, Linda LeBanks, Estelle, Gloristine, Natha Lee and Joshua Jefferson and special friend, Obed Jackson. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 5th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
