Homegoing services for Sister Mary Ellen Graham of Tampa who entered eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2013, will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. Dr. Evan Burrows, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born in Midway, Florida, January 14, 1937 and was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Freamon. She was a resident of Tampa, Florida for 62 years. On November 12, 1950 she was united in holy matrimony to Joseph Graham. To this union 13 children were born. Mary enjoyed being a homemaker for her beautiful family. Sister Graham was a member of First Baptist Church of College Hill, where she sang in the Senior Adult Choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Graham and one son, Kenneth L. Graham. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: 7 sons, Rogers L. Graham and wife, Carolyn, Willie Graham and wife, Carol and Joseph Graham, Jr. all of Tampa, Lester A. Graham, of South Carolina, Clifton Graham of Tampa, Jeffrey L. Graham of Orlando and Terry Graham of Tampa; 5 daughters, Karen R. Simmons and husband, Kirk of Utah, Darlene Thomas and husband, Collins of Tampa, Roslyn Graham of Orlando, Angele Gude of North Carolina and Gale P. Graham of Maryland; 1 sister, Fannie Durant; 5 brothers, Charles Freamon, Johnnie Freamon and wife, Charlene, Ralph Freamon and wife, Charity, Cleveland Freamon and wife, Nancy and Benjamin Freamon and wife, Melodie, all of Tampa; 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
