Mary was born on August 28, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, to John Marshall and Ocillia Ramesy. She liked to go out to eat, watch movies and play dominoes with family and friends. She was a member of Amazing Love Ministries and participated in the Womans Ministry in the church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ocillia Clara Ramsey; father, John Henry Marshall; husband, Herbert Burton Johnson; sister, Karen Ramsey; daughters, Cassandra and Ocillia Clara Johnson.

She leaves precious memories with her children, Tyrone Lee Johnson, Keith Anthony Johnson (Valisia); grandchildren, Caleb Durant (Mary), Kenric Daniel, Kendall and Clarke Johnson; and great-grandchild, Belac Durant.
