A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Mary Lee Doyle McMillan of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 will be held Saturday, February 8th, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neeley, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mary was born December 24, 1919 in Greensboro, Florida to the late Perman and Hattie Doyle. Mary played for the Pentecostal Triumph Holiness Band. She enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and organ. She also was an artist, writer and songstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie McMillan, Sr.; parents; siblings, Emory Doyle, Timothy Doyle, John Doyle, Maxwell Doyle, Ella Brown, Mirie Logan, Clara James, Narcissus Campbell and Clarence Doyle. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her son, Willie McMillan, Jr. (Carolyn); grandchildren, Jacqueline Cambridge, Gwendolyn Cooper (Patrick Essex), Bobby McMillan and Willie McMillan, Jr.; 7 great-grandchildren, including Jessica Cambridge; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the chapel. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service.
